The Jog-A-Thon is one of Weaver’s biggest student-led PTA fundraisers and we need your support! Participation is optional, but your support makes a BIG difference! Students run to show school spirit and raise funds for:
- 🧪 STEAM staff & programs
- 📚 Librarian & literacy programs
- 💻 iPads for classrooms
- 🏃♀️ PE staff & equipment
- 🎨 Arts instruction
- 👩🏫 Professional development for teachers

⚙️ HOW DOES IT WORK?
Students raise funds by collecting pledges to support their run in the Jog-A-Thon on Thursday, September 24th. On event day they’ll:
- Wear their FREE sponsor-funded Jog-A-Thon shirt, and participate in the run, regardless of whether they raised funds 👕
- Run through our 100% organic foam 🫧
- Enjoy a free non-dairy popsicle after the run 🍧

💰 HOW CAN I RAISE MONEY?
Raising funds is simple! Register your student with Pledgestar by clicking here. All pledges are flat donations, regardless of the number of laps run. Every contribution counts, and students can earn prizes by reaching individual fundraising goals! 🏆

Yard Signs
The perfect way to cheer on your favorite Star racer as they race around the world through this year’s Amazing Race!
Custom-designed by Weaver Studios as a personalized movie cell, these signs will line the course to premiere their race across the globe and are yours to keep!
Student Shotouts
Our emcee, will read your personal shout out over the speakers as your student runs.
Example: “This is for Katie Johnson in Ms. Peel’s class. You can do it! Mom, Dad, & Peanut love you!” ❤️
🕒 WHEN WILL MY STUDENT RUN?
On Thursday, September 24th, students will run by grade on the Piedmont Field. The first 15 minutes for every grade will be for class photos for the yearbook (families are not permitted to attend this portion). Afterward, they’ll have a 10-minute warm-up before running for 10 minutes (Early Childhood Buddy Run UTK, Kinder) or 15 minutes (1st–5th grades). After their run, students will enjoy a dairy-free popsicle and water. Below is each grades schedule:
Early Childhood Buddy Run – 8:40–9:25
UTK – 8:55–9:40
Kinder – 9:10–9:55
2nd Grade – 9:25–10:15
1st Grade – 10:15–11:05
3rd Grade – 10:35–11:25
4th Grade – 10:55–11:45
5th Grade – 11:15–12:05
